Volunteers are what make this and most great events possible. Calling all boaters!

We need several power boats to carry Lifeguards during the swim. If you’d like to be a part of this incredible race, would love to be on the lake early in the morning and have some time to spare on Saturday, July 17th, we would love to hear from you. Lifeguard Volunteers

Expand your Lifeguarding experience to open water swim events: At least 12 lifeguards are needed to volunteer at the 62nd Annual Across The Lake Swim, on Saturday morning, July 17, 2009.

You will work in pairs on boats on Okanagan Lake guarding the swim. Most of the participants will be experienced swimmers in wetsuits. We expect close to 450 hundred swimmers this year.

For your service you will be provided a custom technical lifeguard shirt, a letter from the ATLS Race Director acknowledging your service (a great addition to your resume), and all the sunshine and admiration you can bask in!
