As of this minute the meet is in danger of being cancelled due to lack of any timers for the Friday night session.
If you have anyone on your radar who may be able to time for the Friday night swims 6-9pm Jan.20th please let Kathy Hubble know.

Interior Savings Across the Lake Swim
Are you missing anything from the 2011 ATLS?
Below is a picture of all the left behind items from the swim.
If any of it belongs to you, we would like you to have it back. Please email Dorrie at merchandise@acrossthelakeswim.com to arrange to have your goods returned.
We will hold the items until Sept 20, 2011 after which time anything left will be donated.
Please be advised that the AGM for the Across The Lake Swim Society will be September 20, 2011 from 7pm-9pm in the Pool Classroom at H2O. If you would like to be involved in organizing next year’s spectacular swim or learn more about the non-profit Society that runs the Across the Lake Swim, we encourage you to come to our AGM! Refreshments will be provided.
We are especially looking for local swim club members to become more involved with our event; specifically we have a new position for a swim club liaison.
If there is anything that you would like to discuss at the AGM, please contact Mark at racedirector@acrossthelakeswim.com to have it added to the agenda.

We hope everyone had a great time at 2011 Interior Savings Across the Lake Swim. Judging by all the positive feedback we’ve been receiving, it seems you all did!
We try our best to provide a fun, safe, family event that is still challenging and gives you a sense of accomplishment when you swim up to the beach at the finish line. Year after year we constantly adjust the event to make it the best one ever and many of the changes we’ve made come from feedback from our participants.
Here’s your chance to have a say in next year’s event! We would love any feedback you may have, good or bad. We do listen to what you have to say and all feedback is distributed amongst the organizers. Please send an email to: feedback@acrossthelakeswim.com with your comments, criticisms or suggestions!
The Across the Lake Swim Society (ATLSS) would like to thank all the volunteers who spent numerous hours putting this event together. All volunteers, including the directors, are true volunteers. No one gets paid here! When you volunteer, you are volunteering your time to make a great event which in turn promotes open water swimming in the Okanagan. You are not giving your time so others can put money in their pockets! If you would like to be involved in this great group of dedicated organizers, we would love to hear from you!
Next year will be the 64th edition of the swim and we can’t wait to get started. See you in 2012!
